Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, optimization, and reporting of advertising infrastructure through Google Ad Manager operations.
- Maximize advertising revenue by facilitating direct-sold and programmatic campaigns.
- Optimize the ad tech stack for performance and visibility.
- Manage setup, configuration, and migration to Google Ad Manager for multiple properties.
- Oversee programmatic advertising operations, including defining pricing strategies and optimizing revenue.
- Implement audience segmentation and targeting strategies for better campaign performance.
- Monitor direct-sold campaigns by managing inventory, creative placement, and delivery.
- Generate regular ad performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Sales, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure technically sound ad placements.
- Develop systems for managing various premium inventory types, troubleshooting issues, and exploring new monetization opportunities.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of ad operations experience with expertise in Google Ad Manager.
- Profound knowledge of programmatic advertising, pricing strategies, yield optimization, and ad management.
- Familiarity with ad tech platforms and tools such as GAM, AdX, SSPs.
- Experience in setting up and managing audience segmentation and custom key-values.
- Strong analytical skills for deriving insights from data and implementing improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in reporting tools like Looker Studio or Google Analytics.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in migrating to Google Ad Manager.
- Understanding of ad blocking, viewability, and brand safety protocols.
- Familiarity with WordPress and front-end debugging tools.
- Interest in digital assets, cryptocurrency, and Web3 ecosystems.
- Exposure to newsletter monetization and sponsorships.
- Training capability on best practices and campaign setup for internal teams.
