Overview of Team
The Connext team operates on a remote-first basis with a globally distributed workforce using English as the primary language. We value self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. While specific time zone requirements are not enforced, many team members operate within US/European time zones.
Summary of Position
We are seeking a proactive Head of BD to drive Connext's growth trajectory within our dynamic Growth team. This full-time and 100% remote role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to Connext's integration pipeline and further solidify its market leadership.
The successful candidate will directly report to the CEO of the Connext Foundation.
Our objective is to amplify transaction volume by 10 times in the upcoming year, reaching $10 billion from the current $1 billion threshold.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives within the interoperability space by identifying and leveraging emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities.
Manage and lead a business development team dedicated to fostering adoption and forming partnerships within the Interop and Chain Abstraction ecosystem.
Secure integrations with fast-growing dApps, L2s, and Modular Blockchains, Intent Solver Networks, Market-makers, CEXes, and other crucial industry participants.
Drive transaction volume and boost protocol fee generation.
Key Qualifications
Proficiency in the crypto industry with professionalism.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a business development role, demonstrating mastery in this field.
Demonstrated initiative and inquisitiveness in understanding clients' needs, excelling in securing mutually beneficial deals.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage BD teams, create goals, establish processes, and develop incentives to drive top performance.
Data-driven approach with keen attention to detail.
Extensive networking connections within the crypto space.
