Head of Investment Research (Delhi -Remote)

Token Metrics is in search of an individual to lead the Investment Research department. The role involves overseeing investment transaction activities and spearheading blockchain investments. Key responsibilities include creating financial models, conducting market research, interacting with entrepreneurs, and participating in industry events and networking opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with identifying and evaluating numerous investment opportunities, developing investment theses, and establishing meaningful relationships with potential investee companies. This role requires thorough analysis of venture capital investments and strong portfolio management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial models for VC transactions, valuations, and liquidity events.
• Conduct due diligence including market research, competitive analysis, and forming investment viewpoints.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support portfolio companies in enhancing operations and performance.
• Establish processes for scalable investment operations.
• Utilize existing networks to identify new investment opportunities.
• Present potential investments to the Executive Investment Committee.
• Stay updated on developments in blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in blockchain and cryptocurrency investing.
• Preferably hold a CFA, MBA, or equivalent degree from a reputable business school, with a strong network in Silicon Valley.
• Proven track record in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or similar roles.
• Experience managing strategic alliances and M&A transactions in technology sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.
