Description
The role of leading the technological vision and strategy at the Arbitrum Foundation is pivotal and will be undertaken by the Head of Technology. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to drive key technology decisions within the Foundation, oversee coordination across diverse technical contributors, manage and enhance our data capabilities, facilitate sales through technical collaborations as necessary, and act as the central point of contact for all technical aspects. Additionally, the Head of Technology will collaborate closely with our grants and ecosystem teams to evaluate the technical feasibility of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make critical technical decisions at the AF.
- Act as the primary technical interface for internal teams including partnerships, ecosystem, and grants.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as partners, developers, and community members to encourage cooperation and stimulate innovation.
- Lead the management and expansion of Data Capability.
- Translate complex technical details into easily understandable information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical expertise and insights to support the partnerships and ecosystem teams in enabling sales.
- Identify and forge technical partnerships that align with the Foundation’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure effective integration and collaboration with partners to enhance the impact of joint efforts.
- Work in collaboration with the grants and ecosystem teams to assess the technical feasibility of proposed projects.
- Offer recommendations based on technical evaluations to aid funding and development decisions.
- Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects to ensure they meet technical standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated background in a senior technical leadership position, preferably within the blockchain or cryptocurrency sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of blockchain technologies, particularly Ethereum and Layer 2 scaling solutions.
- Proven experience in data management, analytics, and scaling infrastructure.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication.
- Ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in sales enablement and cultivating technical partnerships.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Enthusiasm for blockchain technology and its potential to drive positive change.
