The HRIS Manager role entails overseeing the administration, enhancement, and continual optimization of the company's HR information systems, predominantly leveraging the Workday platform. This position involves collaborating closely with HR, Finance, Procurement, IT, and external vendors to ensure that the HR systems are scalable, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with the diverse business requirements across various markets.
Responsibilities:
Manage the configuration, maintenance, enhancement, testing, and upgrade of HR applications, systems, and modules, focusing primarily on Workday.
Provide comprehensive system support, troubleshooting, user guidance, and issue resolution for HRIS users and stakeholders.
Collaborate with HR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify process gaps, system improvement opportunities, and automation needs, and execute appropriate solutions.
Configure, sustain, and enrich Workday integrations with internal and external systems such as ATS, Finance and Procurement systems, employee portals, and other business applications.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts in line with business and operational demands.
Oversee HRIS security roles, user access, permissions, and governance processes to ensure data access integrity and confidentiality.
Support HR data quality, system controls, audit readiness, and compliance with internal policies and data privacy standards.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and HRIS vendors for system implementation, operations, maintenance, and support.
Engage in vendor evaluation, procurement decisions, implementation planning, and negotiations for new HR digital tools, applications, and system enhancement projects.
Lead or assist in HRIS-related projects such as system implementations, upgrades, integrations, process redesigns, testing, change management, and user adoption.
Develop and sustain HRIS process documentation, system configuration records, user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
Fulfill other related duties as required.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, HR operations systems, or a related field.
Hands-on proficiency with Workday, encompassing exposure to various Workday modules.
Experience in supporting Workday integrations with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in translating business requirements into practical HR system configurations, reports, workflows, or process enhancements.
Strong project management skills and the capacity to deliver high-quality work within set timelines.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities working with various departments and external vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail in handling HR data.
