IAM Security Engineer

As a valuable member of the access control team, you will oversee access control projects across the organization. This role reports to the Head of Access Control within the Security department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage backend operating systems and play a role in developing Privileged access management systems.
• Administer IAM tools, providing support for functional and business technology aspects such as chat faq handling, account management, permission authorization, access review and control, data protection, risk analysis, and identification.
• Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders including business partners, product managers, developers, as well as infrastructure and information security teams.
• Continuously assess system functionality effectiveness and propose enhancements based on organizational requirements.
• Identify and address underlying issues by correlating events across various systems.
• Provide standby support for emergency recovery related to permission issues.
• Independently drive access control projects to successful and timely completion.
• Coordinate with product and development teams on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ensuring a smooth release without significant system or user impact.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks from management with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field like IT or Computing.
• Previous experience in Identity and Access management with a solid grasp of related principles.
• Proficiency in creating and managing access control policies aligned with business objectives.
• Knowledge of security protocols, best practices, and familiarity with access control technologies and tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled in Python and Go programming languages with extensive experience in the Django framework.
• Proficiency in front-end development, database management, Docker, and RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Exceptional communication skills in both Chinese and English preferred.
• Adaptable to change and flexible in work approach.
• Possession of CISA and PMP certifications is a plus.
