Institutional Sales Manager
About the Role:
Define and establish connections within the institutional and high-net worth clientele within the ever-evolving crypto and blockchain industry. The opportunities for potential clients are vast, with the chance to onboard clients to their first crypto instruments or create innovative crypto products tailored to their unique needs.
Take charge by proactively identifying and pitching institutional leads, showcasing adaptability and leadership in the process. Embrace the variability of successful outcomes, whether it involves introducing a client to their initial crypto asset or designing a groundbreaking product that meets their specific requirements.
Dedicate efforts to crafting and customizing products in the emerging landscape that integrates traditional financial services into the realm of crypto. Utilize your creativity and expertise to personalize pitches for institutional clients, with the flexibility to explore additional financial service offerings like credit and custody solutions under the support of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential institutional clients.
- Understand client needs to recommend relevant products and services such as market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Represent the organization at conferences and engage with key institutional stakeholders to promote institutional business offerings.
- Expand institutional reach through community activities and interactions within the crypto sphere.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the institutional crypto sector.
- Facilitate the negotiation and closure of client agreements and partnerships.
- Propose innovative products tailored for institutional clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, solicit feedback, and suggest enhancements for products.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new clients brought onboard.
- Transaction volume generated by clients.
- Revenue and profit outcomes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Institutional Outbound Sales.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, or web3 outbound sales, preferably within Exchange, Custodian, or Prime Broker settings.
- Knowledge of institutional products like market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Established network of clients in the cryptocurrency domain, including hedge funds, trading firms, banks, asset managers, OTC desks, and parties seeking custody solutions.
- Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Institutional Sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, manage, and profit from client relationships, evidenced by acquiring institutional clients, driving business growth, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Strong command of professional written and spoken English, supported by effective writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.
