International Payroll Manager
About Toku:
The cryptocurrency industry has experienced significant growth in recent years and is now facing increased regulation. At Toku, we embrace regulation as a positive development that will allow the industry to access new opportunities globally.
We are dedicated to being a leading company in the transition from pre-regulation to post-regulation in the crypto sector. Our products enable crypto-native companies to securely and compliantly compensate their teams with both fiat currencies and tokens across more than 100 countries. Our growing list of satisfied customers includes notable names such as Aragon, Astar, dYdX, Filecoin Foundation, Gitcoin, Gnosis, Hedera Hashgraph, Mina, Protocol Labs, Teller, Safe, Storyverse, and others.
Token-based compensation is a practical and widely-used application in the cryptocurrency industry. Regardless of the specific token's function, all tokens can be used to reward workers. Toku ensures that these token compensations are carried out legally, accounting for proper taxation. This is a crucial part of transitioning into a post-regulation crypto industry.
Toku recently raised $20 million in funding from reputable investors such as Blockchain Capital, Protocol Labs, GMJP, OrangeDAO, Orrick, Reverie, Quantstamp, Next Web Capital, and angel investors including Juan Benet (Protocol Labs founder) and Nikil Viswanathan and Joe Lau (Alchemy co-founders).
