Investor Relations Manager

Job Summary:

Animoca Brands is looking for a motivated and personable Investor Relations Manager to become a part of our Finance department. This role will collaborate closely with our leadership team to nurture and oversee a high-caliber global investor community, aid in fundraising activities, and convey Animoca Brands’ strategy, performance, and vision to investors.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with current and potential investors, such as venture capital firms, institutional investors, and strategic partners
• Serve as a reliable partner to investors, understanding their goals and aligning them with Animoca Brands’ opportunities when appropriate
• Collaborate with the Strategic Finance team to ensure IR messaging is in line with financial strategy, capital structure, and significant transactions
• Oversee the creation of investor materials, including quarterly reports, presentations, fact sheets, and briefing documents for senior management
• Coordinate and manage investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and annual general meetings, ensuring quality execution of all logistical aspects and content
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor performance, and industry advancements in the blockchain and gaming sectors to offer insightful data to the executive team
• Support in executing capital raising activities and other corporate transactions by delivering IR assistance and handling investor due diligence procedures
• Guarantee that all investor communications comply with applicable regulatory standards and internal governance protocols

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably in the technology, gaming, or fintech industries
• Profound understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to various audiences
• Keen interest and knowledge in blockchain technology, NFTs, and the decentralized web
• Ability to thrive in a fast-evolving, entrepreneurial setting and handle multiple projects concurrently
• High integrity level and adept at managing confidential information discreetly
• Proficiency in English required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to our international investor base is advantageous
