Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee the complete settlement cycle, including trade confirmations, matching, and settlements.
- Identify and communicate any settlement lifecycle issues promptly.
- Correspond with institutional counterparties and monitor pending OTC settlements.
- Conduct real-time and t+1 reconciliations for accurate record keeping and trading positions.
- Ensure preparation of precise trade and transaction reporting.
- Compile and report statistics on market making obligations.
- Analyze reconciliation breaks and maintain ownership of critical data.
- Support automation of recurring operating procedures by developing and managing scripts in collaboration with the developer.
- Assist in onboarding new counterparties for settlements and drafting data requirements for current and new business initiatives.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree in a relevant field.
- Have 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and escalate issues as needed.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and a focus on achieving results.
