Junior Financial Analyst

The Junior Financial Analyst role operates in a hybrid work setup, split between time in the office and working from home.

Treasury and Trust Operations

• Conduct daily reconciliations of Trust Company and activities
• Monitor Trust-related requests and activities such as deposits, withdrawals, and account setup
• Review cash reconciliations and process journal entries for cash movements and payments
• Daily reconcile cash books, debit card deposits and withdrawals, chargebacks, and connection errors
• Prepare daily Segregation Statement
• Analyze trading activities, margin requirements, and liquidity management
• Manage Treasury inbox and Salesforce-related tasks
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trading volumes, client activity, and revenue generation
• Complete project work to enhance efficiency through automation of daily/monthly processes
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis
• Assist with various administrative tasks as required

Accounting

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaids, property, and intercompany accounts
• Collaborate with Treasury and Finance teams on daily and monthly processing
• Support Finance team with ad-hoc work for entities within the organization
• Help prepare documentation for audits and regulatory examinations
• Assist with various administrative tasks as needed

Accounts Payable and Vendor Management

• Manage Accounts Payable, including creating purchase orders, reviewing/submitting invoices, and processing payments
• Ensure timely processing of vendor payments to maintain current accounts
• Maintain supplier database with up-to-date addresses, TINs, and banking details
• Contribute to the development of new processes within the Finance structure
• Execute internal control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of books and records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with strong academic performance
• 0-3 years of Finance experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Quick learner and self-motivated individual
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent data management capabilities
• Experience in banks, FCMs, broker-dealers, or financial markets is a plus
• Must have an interest in financial markets and cryptocurrencies
