Junior Operations Analyst
Job Duties:
We are in search of a diligent and proactive Junior Operations Analyst to assist the Institutional Sales team. This role involves a blend of operational tasks, reporting, and enhancing processes, making it ideal for individuals who excel in structured processes and data-driven problem-solving scenarios.
Responsibilities include managing client account requests, ensuring data accuracy, developing Salesforce reports and Tableau dashboards, and implementing process automations to enhance efficiency. Collaborating closely with the Senior Operations Manager, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring effective client support and promoting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Operations
Processing client account inquiries within specified SLAs, such as setting up accounts and adjusting fees.
Conducting routine Salesforce data checks for consistency.
Maintaining operational records and trackers with accuracy and compliance.
Creating and circulating institutional reports regularly.
Reporting & Analysis
Designing and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards for monitoring client trading performance.
Assisting in Tableau dashboard creation for client activity and operational metrics.
Tracking and analyzing client trading metrics, rankings, and account performance.
Providing ad-hoc reporting and insights to sales and account managers.
Process Enhancement & Automation
Optimizing Slack workflows and other team automation tools.
Identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing automation solutions.
Updating process documentation and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
Collaboration
Collaborating with account managers, compliance, data, and finance teams to resolve operational requests.
Supporting the Senior Operations Manager on strategic projects and high-priority tasks.
Serving as a dependable point of contact for operational queries within the sales team.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, business analysis, or sales support, preferably in fintech/finance.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with Salesforce reporting.
- Familiarity with Tableau or other business intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Interest or experience in workflow automation tools like Slack workflows, macros, and scripts.
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
