About the Role:
The position calls for a savvy Junior Software Engineer capable of delving into various aspects of the complete product development framework, covering frontend, backend, and AI-enhanced functionalities. As part of this role, you will be involved in constructing internal tools, automation systems, data-driven products, and AI-powered workflows. Tasks will range from working on user interfaces, backend services, APIs, data integrations, to AI-assisted features. We seek individuals who can work swiftly, learn effectively, and proficiently employ AI tools to deliver end-to-end product characteristics.
This post transcends being solely a frontend or backend development role. We highly appreciate engineers who can take charge of a feature from understanding requirements to executing UI design, backend logic, AI integration, testing, and iterative enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Conceiving and maintaining end-to-end product elements spanning frontend, backend, and AI/LLM components.
- Crafting user interfaces for internal tools, dashboards, AI assistants, automation workflows, and productivity platforms.
- Implementing backend services, APIs, data pipelines, task flows, and integrations with internal or external systems.
- Embedding LLM/AI functionalities into actual product scenarios, like intelligent assistants, RAG workflows, AI agents, automation utilities, text classification, summarization, and issue analysis.
- Utilizing AI software tools to elevate development speed, code quality, testing, and debugging capabilities.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams such as product, operations, support, engineering, security, and infrastructure to grasp user requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Engaging in product refinements based on user feedback, usage data, and business performance indicators.
- Generating clean, sustainable code, contributing to documentation, testing, and adhering to engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- A degree, Bachelor's or higher, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid programming fundamentals with a knack for swift adaptation to new technologies.
- Practical exposure to at least one frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Hands-on experience with at least one backend language or framework (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
- Rudimentary grasp of frontend engineering encompassing component design, state management, API integration, UI troubleshooting, and essential browser fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of backend engineering, covering API design, databases, authentication, async tasks, logging, monitoring, and service resiliency.
- Hands-on experience with LLM/AI applications such as LLM API integration, Prompt engineering, RAG agents, AI workflow automation, text classification, summarization, and extraction.
- Proficient in utilizing AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot for enhanced productivity in daily development tasks.
- Strong sense of ownership, effective communication skills, and readiness to tackle ambiguous challenges.
- Ability to deliver pragmatic solutions while upholding engineering excellence and prioritizing user experience.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on involvement in crafting AI-driven products, internal tools, dashboards, workflow automation systems.
- Familiarity with LLM/Agent/RAG frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Dify, AutoGen, CrewAI, OpenAI API, Anthropic API, or Hugging Face.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, knowledge bases, or retrieval systems.
- Experience in observability, monitoring, alerting, incident analysis, DevOps, SRE, or workflow automation.
- Aptitude in UI/UX design thinking or developing user-centric internal utilities from scratch.
- Experience employing AI tools to expedite full-stack feature development encompassing frontend generation, backend scaffolding, testing, and documentation.
- Completion of personal AI projects, hackathons, engagement in open-source ventures, or exposure to deploying production AI applications.
- Proficiency in technical writing practices and fostering knowledge sharing culture.
