SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal uptime for production systems by utilizing real-time monitoring
  • Deliver level 1 and 2 application and client support
  • Collaborate closely with Development, Quant, and Infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve system issues
  • Continuously monitor application alerts to maintain optimal system performance
  • Uphold and improve internal documentation standards
  • Execute weekly support duties checklists
  • Take end-to-end ownership of client-reported issues until resolution
  • Provide end-user desktop support for internal staff

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Self-driven individual capable of taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Previous experience with programming/scripting languages is advantageous
  • Detail-oriented problem solver
  • Assist in designing the long-term support model with the team
  • Offering phone or remote support during non-office hours as needed
