Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate onboarding applications for Institutional and VIP Clients, ensuring adherence to international regulatory standards across various regions.
- Collaborate effectively with VIP sales managers to explain intricate compliance requirements to clients.
- Partner with compliance teams to identify and enhance policy and process areas.
- Work closely with product teams to improve user interface and system efficiency.
- Develop comprehensive Business Request Documents (BRDs) to capture enhancements and initiate new projects.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the Banking sector (experience in Private Banking/ Investment Banking/ Institutional Banking preferred).
- Proficient in offshore investment funds, including familiarity with various organizational structures.
- Strong understanding of screening tools like World-Check, Jumio, etc.
- Knowledgeable about MAS and HKMA regulations as a baseline.
- Ability to convey and simplify complex compliance requirements for clients and VIP sales team.
- Capable of working under pressure within tight SLAs.
- Self-driven individual with a passion for process improvement.
- Skilled in basic Data Analytics for generating Management Information (MI).
- Ability to strategize using statistical research to enhance team performance.
