KYC Analyst (Portuguese Speaker)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct KYC due diligence reviews promptly and adhere to high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in utilizing compliance applications like World Check, POA, and EDD is advantageous.
• Possess a solid understanding of local laws, directives, regulations, and relevant standards with expertise in upcoming virtual currency policies.
• Competent in performing risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews, open-source research, and enhanced due diligence.
• Cultivate strong relationships with various departments like Compliance, Customer Service, and Operations.
• Participate in internal and external training programs focusing on AML/CFT and other related topics necessary for daily work responsibilities.
• Undertake any general administrative tasks required concerning the above functions in alignment with the Company's business needs.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Display strong technical communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Demonstrate proven experience and knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT and sanctions red flags is advantageous.
• Previous experience in risk, compliance, fraud, operational, or regulatory roles is preferred.
• Prior experience with World Check or KYC operations is beneficial.
• Highly adaptable with the ability to multitask and oversee projects if required.
• Effective and articulate communicator.
• Essential proficiency in English and Portuguese to facilitate coordination with overseas partners and stakeholders.
