Responsibilities:
- Develop new features from scratch in a high-quality codebase
- Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to analyze requirements and follow the full software development life cycle
- Focus on enhancing technology offerings within the B2C2 group, particularly in areas like OTC, hedging, risk management, and low-latency optimization
- Work closely with development teams in London and Europe to drive technical advancements across the trading technology stack
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial experience in Java development for front-office trading systems
- Strong coding skills with a focus on clean and efficient code
- Self-motivated, confident, and team-oriented
- Desire to learn and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with low garbage collection techniques in Java
- Knowledge in areas such as electronic market making, algo trading, low latency/high-frequency trading, and market data management, with expertise in crypto, FX, or derivatives trading being advantageous
- Understanding of messaging and middleware infrastructure, including technologies like UDP, FIX, REST, Websockets, Redis, and Kafka
- Familiarity with Python and AWS infrastructure is a plus
- Fluency in both French and English
