Responsibilities:
Recently introducing Circle APIs in 2020, our technology empowers businesses to accept payments using a global, scalable, and efficient alternative to traditional banking methods, leveraging USD Coin technology. Our Security Team focuses on safeguarding Circle, our clients, partners, and the financial markets on which we rely. The Circle Threat Intelligence Program conducts in-depth research on threats affecting the company and the blockchain/Web3 industry to equip internal stakeholders with refined intelligence for informed decision-making and risk awareness.
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst at Circle, your role in overseeing the operations of Circle's Threat Intelligence Program during the US timezone is crucial. This position demands efficient monitoring, triaging, and assessment of incoming threat intelligence feeds according to defined Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs).
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Daily monitoring and prioritized triaging of incoming threat intelligence feeds
- Timely processing of Requests for Intelligence (RFI) requests
- Generating intelligence products through reports, briefings, and automated dissemination
- Developing automated workflows for intelligence collection, enrichment, and dissemination
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry partners
- Contributing to the continual improvement and evolution of Circle's Threat Intelligence Program
- Assisting in conducting threat hunts

Requirements:
- Over 4 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, with a focus on blockchain and Web3 analysis
- Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, threat landscapes, and threat actors
- Proficiency in using Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technology for automated workflows
- Experience in executing complex SQL queries for threat data extraction and analysis
- Proficiency in commercial threat intelligence platforms and open-source intelligence (OSINT) gathering and analysis
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for learning new tools and technologies quickly
- Experience in collaborating with senior leadership to effectively communicate complex security risks

The position offers day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates. Compensation includes equity, benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), discretionary vacation policy, paid sick leave, and holidays, subject to location differences. Annual Compensation Range: $145,000 - $192,500 Annual Bonus Target: 15%
