Responsibilities:
Circle's introduction of Circle APIs revolutionized payment acceptance by offering globally scalable, efficient alternatives to traditional banking channels, powered by USD Coin. The Circle Security Team is dedicated to protecting Circle, its clients, and the financial ecosystems. The Threat Intelligence Program focuses on researching and mitigating threats across the organization and the blockchain/Web3 space to enhance decision-making and risk understanding for internal stakeholders.
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst at Circle, you will manage and operate Circle's Threat Intelligence Program during US working hours. This pivotal role involves monitoring, analyzing, and acting on incoming threat intelligence feeds based on defined Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs). We seek an individual with a robust understanding of threats to Web3 entities, a customer-centric mindset, agility in operations, and a strategic focus on automation and intelligence distribution to cater to diverse internal audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular monitoring, prioritized assessment, and handling of incoming threat intelligence feeds
- Efficient response to Requests for Intelligence (RFI) requests
- Production of threat intelligence reports, briefings, and automated intelligence distributions
- Development of automated workflows for threat intelligence collection and dissemination
- Cultivating relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry partners
- Contributing to the enhancement and strategic maturation of Circle's Threat Intelligence Program
- Assisting in proactive threat detection activities
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, with a focus on blockchain and Web3 research
- Expertise in cybersecurity threats and the threat landscape
- Proficiency in using SOAR and developing automated workflows for intelligence collection
- Strong SQL querying skills for threat data analysis
- Experience with commercial threat intelligence platforms and open-source intelligence gathering
- Strong communication skills tailored to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly
- Experience in articulating security risks to senior leadership
This role operates independently in the US time zone, necessitating self-motivation, efficient task prioritization, and clear risk communication to different audience levels, including senior management.

Additional Details:
- Potential day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates
- Compensation is determined by factors like relevant experience, qualifications, and organizational needs
- Fixed pay range: $145,000 - $192,500
- Annual bonus target: 15%
