Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the Africa P2P business, including local operations, product localization, and regulatory compliance.
• Gather feedback from local users and communities, as well as insights on competitors, to enhance service offerings.
• Identify collaboration opportunities with local P2P partners, blockchain communities, and associations to increase awareness in the African market.
• Cultivate additional partnerships related to P2P activities.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive P2P volume growth, and devise content creation and promotion strategies.
• Maintain solid relationships with regulators, banks, and payment partners.
• Stay informed about current regulations to offer strategic advice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in a comparable role in business development or business growth within a blockchain/crypto company, financial institution, or bank in Africa.
• Profound understanding of local communities and the cryptocurrency environment in Africa.
• Proficiency in English and African languages (spoken and written).
