Localization Technical Specialist/ Localization Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Localization Technical Specialist to join our team at Crypto.com. The ideal candidate should possess a keen interest in languages and technology, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our automated workflow to achieve more precise translation outcomes by refining AI prompts. You will collaborate closely with various teams, such as developers, designers, and translation vendors, to ensure the delivery of high-quality localized content.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline the localization process for our products and services, including applications, marketing, and website.
• Automate linguistic testing and quality assurance procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency in translated content.
• Develop a localization management platform to manage automated workflows efficiently.
• Assess and enhance AI prompts for optimized translation quality.
• Collaborate with developers to implement best practices in localization, including internationalization and localization strategies.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to localization, such as encoding problems and character display discrepancies.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in localization and internationalization.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm for cryptocurrency, a creative mindset, and a proactive attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in localization engineering or multilingual software development (additional experience may qualify for the position of Localization Engineer).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby) and familiarity with localization tools (e.g., Lokalise, Crowdin, memoQ, etc.).
• Strong understanding of localization file formats (e.g., JSON, XLIFF), as well as version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
• Experience in AI prompt engineering is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other language.
