About the Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will utilize extensive datasets at a petabyte scale and advanced machine learning infrastructure to develop AI-powered products for millions of cryptocurrency users. Collaboration with engineers, data analysts, business operations, and product managers will be integral in shaping and delivering solutions, features, algorithms, and products driven by cutting-edge machine learning and data technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Employ NLP techniques to preprocess and analyze large-scale textual data, developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal models for actionable business insights.
- Create, maintain, and optimize end-to-end machine learning pipelines covering data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Oversee the deployment of ML models in production environments with a focus on scalability, reliability, availability, and low-latency inference utilizing cloud infrastructure.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities aligned with business objectives, and convey insights through effective data analysis and visualization.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, especially in multimodal AI, to integrate state-of-the-art technologies into solutions continually.
- Investigate the application of agentic AI for automating detection and monitoring within risk management systems to enhance accuracy and response times.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of industry experience in AI/ML, with emphasis on NLP and/or multimodal AI, complemented by a Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, VectorDB, or similar platforms.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java, hands-on experience with ML/NLP libraries, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, SpaCy, NLTK.
- Sound knowledge of modern machine learning and deep learning techniques, transformer architectures (BERT, GPT), hyperparameter optimization, and strategies for handling imbalanced datasets.
- Experience in optimizing and deploying ML models for low-latency inference in production, familiar with end-to-end ML deployment processes including version control (Git), CI/CD, and managing multiple environments.
Preferred:
- Background in deploying agentic AI systems or similar autonomous AI solutions is advantageous.
- Previous experience in e-commerce or technology sectors is highly preferred.
