Macro Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive research reports on macro and sector trends such as DeFi, NFT, Gaming, Metaverse, L1/L2, Middleware, both for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and synthesize trends from diverse data sources including internal data and public blockchain data.
• Collaborate with project teams and industry experts to gather relevant information.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail when examining market trends and projects.
• Proactively stay updated on market developments, opportunities, risks, and emerging projects within the cryptocurrency sector.
• Collaborate with the Research team at Binance, renowned as one of the top research teams in the cryptocurrency industry. Work alongside other analysts within the Research team and cross-functional colleagues from teams like Data Analytics and Marketing. Depending on experience level, possibly specialize in a specific sector within the crypto industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in crypto research, or 3+ years in sell-side or buy-side research within traditional finance.
• Proficient knowledge of blockchain data.
• Strong analytical capabilities and comprehensive understanding of the cryptocurrency industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degrees in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields are advantageous. Possession of a CFA credential is also beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, self-motivated, and exhibit exemplary work ethics.
