Market Leader
Position Summary:
Grayscale Investments, as the world's largest manager of digital currency assets, is looking for dedicated Market Leaders. The role involves taking charge of a specific territory, cultivating client relationships to expand our client roster. Market Leaders will report to the Head of Distribution and should have a strong sales background with access to business and financial networks. They will act as the primary interface for Grayscale, enhancing client interactions and involvement within their designated region.
Responsibilities:
- Become well-versed in Grayscale's Product Suite, encompassing ETFs, Private Placements, and Private Funds.
- Drive client acquisition efforts to increase investments in Grayscale's range of products.
- Cultivate new connections and sustain existing ones with HNW investors, RIAs, Family Offices, and other potential investors to introduce Grayscale offerings.
- Participate in meetings, industry functions, and conferences to engage with potential investors and promote the company.
- Regularly share insights and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and messaging.
- Stay informed about advancements in the digital currency landscape.
- Mentor and develop junior team members within the distribution department.
- Aid in creating sales tools like marketing materials and other assets for client and prospect interactions.
Prior Experience/Requirements:
- Possess 8-15+ years of successful experience in sales and service roles, preferably within finance or digital currency investments, with an established network of potential investors.
- Demonstrate expertise in selling various investment products to high net-worth individuals, family offices, and the RIA channel, along with pre-existing relationships in this investor segment.
- Exhibit strong communication, presentation, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Express a keen interest in digital currencies, blockchain technology, and associated concepts.
- Maintain in-depth market knowledge of the global asset management sector (particularly alternative investments) and comprehensive understanding of diverse client segments, products, key regulations, and industry trends.
- Excel in networking with both professional and personal spheres.
- Display a proactive, determined approach to raising capital, alongside being a self-starter.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, showing flexibility, adaptability, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience using Salesforce for monitoring and tracking sales endeavors.
- Hold the FINRA Series 7 and 63 qualifications.
