We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Operations Manager, well-versed in data analysis, to oversee the daily operations of our trading platform. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in upholding market integrity, implementing liquidity strategies, aligning with market makers, and streamlining operational processes within various teams across product, risk, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily market operations with a primary focus on liquidity, spread, and depth of trading pairs
- Cultivate and manage relationships with Market Makers and Liquidity Providers, including overseeing performance evaluations and incentive frameworks
- Define and monitor critical market health indicators such as volume, spread, quote coverage, fill rate, and volatility impact
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitoring tools, and daily reporting dashboards
- Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Compliance teams to enhance order book performance, user experience, and fee structures
- Ensure readiness for launching new pairs, encompassing parameter configuration, hedging coordination, and market opening strategies
- Track and analyze market metrics including trading volume, spread, active users, and quote coverage
- Lead or support various projects like new pair launches, trading campaigns, and market enhancements
- Drive cross-functional initiatives, optimizing OTC flow, designing trading campaigns, and coordinating with VIP users
- Provide support for OTC trading operations, uphold market operation audit records internally
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in disciplines such as Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience in market making, liquidity management, or related fin-tech roles in financial services or cryptocurrency field
- Proficiency in data analysis, performance metric tracking, and generation of insights
- Understanding of regulatory compliance pertaining to cryptocurrency and financial services
- Strong ability to manage complex operations, lead cross-functional projects, and handle pressure situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills for managing client relationships and internal collaborations
- Sharp problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Capability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, evolving business requirements, and work effectively in a varied team environment
- Fluent proficiency in Thai and English languages, both written and spoken
- Preferred experience in cryptocurrency, fintech, payments, or conventional financial services
- Bonus qualifications include proficiency in operations, settlements, host-to-host API automations in payment processing
