We are currently in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Data Analytics professional to join our team. As an integral member of our Compliance unit, you will assist in constructing, executing, and optimizing compliance measures across all relevant legal entities of Anchorage Digital.
Your role will involve collaborating closely with various compliance functions, particularly in Financial Crimes Compliance, to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. Your proficiency in data analysis will be fundamental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, streamlining processes, and utilizing technology to elevate our overall compliance standards.

Essential Technical Skills:
- Proficient understanding of Compliance-related data tables and models, including the ability to analyze data independently and accurately.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to automate critical compliance processes utilizing internal tools for improved efficiency.
- Experience in experimenting with and deploying AI solutions, and staying updated on the latest AI advancements for enhanced productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in developing and refining BSA/AML models, encompassing transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk rating, and more.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices for the FCC Analytics team, with emphasis on code review, testing frameworks, and project management.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and respond promptly to data requests from auditors, regulators, or other Compliance units.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a data analytics or data science role, with a profound understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and financial services.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in managing multiple priorities independently, with expertise in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Looker, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
- Competence in automation principles, leveraging AI tools, and demonstrating a proactive approach towards exploring new AI tools to boost efficiency.
- Strong technologist mindset, with the capacity to comprehend systems, data flows, and technologies interplay, along with an eagerness to learn and apply new tech.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points for):
- Prior exposure in the financial service industry, crypto sector, start-up environment, or rapid-paced settings.
- General comprehension of regulatory compliance, financial crimes, and risk management.
- Familiarity with data transformation tools like dbt, version control systems like Git, or scripting languages like Python.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines, notably in compliance or audit-related contexts.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data precision, testing, and documentation quality.
