The role of Member of Custody, Government Initiatives, and Contracts is pivotal in securing and managing state and federal contracts while ensuring strict adherence to government procurement regulations within the dynamic digital asset landscape. This role entails overseeing the entire lifecycle of government bids, adeptly navigating evolving regulatory frameworks related to digital assets across different jurisdictions. By fostering close collaboration with government bodies and internal teams, the incumbent will harmonize business strategies with compliance requirements to effectively execute post-contract activities and maintain sustainable long-term engagement. The successful candidate will serve as a role model, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams to spearhead government-related initiatives and cultivate synergy between Sales, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Engineering departments.

Technical Skills:
- Possess expert knowledge in bidding, compliance, and contract execution for state and federal procurements.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in crypto custody infrastructure, blockchain security models, digital asset tracking, and regulatory compliance nuances.
- Ability to independently formulate, structure, and submit government RFP/RFI responses to ensure competitive positioning.
- Profound understanding of government procurement regulations and digital asset policy frameworks.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and tools for government relations tracking to effectively manage engagements, contracts, and compliance updates.

- Responsible for driving state and federal contract pursuits, focusing on compliance and competitive advantage.

- Ensure successful implementation, compliance, and renewal of government contracts by fostering collaboration across various teams.

Organizational Knowledge:

- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering teams to support government initiatives.
- Develop repeatable processes to scale public sector engagement and streamline contract acquisition.
- Excel in a fast-paced regulatory environment, making data-driven decisions and swiftly adapting strategies as needed.
Communication and Influence:
- Apt at representing the company in state, federal, and sovereign government engagements to drive digital asset adoption.
- Serve as a key influencer in government and public sector realms, actively shaping decisions.
- Lead end-to-end creation of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring compelling and compliant submissions.
- Keep internal teams apprised of government regulations, shifts in procurement trends, and policy changes affecting digital assets.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 8 years in government contracting, public sector business development, or government relations with a focus on state and federal contracts.
- Demonstrated success in managing RFI/RFP processes, securing government contracts, and establishing enduring relationships with government entities.
- Direct experience in blockchain technology, crypto custody, or digital asset policy is highly favorable.
- Proven track record of independently managing and drafting RFP proposals, complemented by robust project management skills to coordinate internal stakeholders.
- Established relationships at state and federal levels will be valuable, with additional merit for engaging with sovereign governments.
Bonus Qualification:
