The Member of KYC Operations, Onboarding will play a vital role within a proactive team focused on continually enhancing operations in alignment with industry trends. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely completion of KYC due diligence activities aimed at enhancing the overall client experience while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards as essential components of Anchorage Digital's BSA/AML Compliance Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct KYC reviews for new clients and prospects based on preset policies and procedures.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of institutional KYC requirements applicable to both traditional and crypto-native client categories.
Expectations and Impact of Role:
- Demonstrate ownership and leadership throughout the KYC review process, identifying potential gaps and effectively navigating challenges.
- Efficiently manage multiple priorities and projects while adhering to strict deadlines.
Collaboration and Communication Skills:
- Engage with team members and key stakeholders to grasp priorities and monitor workflow effectively.
- Deliver KYC reviews promptly to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in conducting due diligence reviews for institutional client types like Investment Managers, Funds, Money Service Businesses, etc.
- Proficient in compiling AML/Non-AML due diligence through extensive public research.
- Skilled in cross-team project management and facilitation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in client-facing roles providing support and guidance in client services.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
- Familiarity with crypto-native institutions.
- Interest in supporting the growth of early-stage startups.
- Proficiency across multiple jurisdictions, including knowledge of requirements under the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
- Appreciation for narratives like those found in the soundtrack of Hamilton, the hit musical.
