As a member of the Protocols team, you will play a crucial role in supporting new cryptoassets. At Anchorage Digital, we aim to incorporate all assets into our platform, which requires continuous learning and integration of new blockchains, technologies, and innovations. Developing a reliable and scalable layer for interacting with different blockchains is essential for our various business lines. As a team, we are committed to ongoing improvement and growth, and we value collaboration and shared expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and integrate new cryptoassets into Anchorage Digital's platform.
• Implement client-centric features such as staking, governance, and vesting.
• Develop scalable abstractions across various crypto-networks.
• Monitor and support assets through upgrades and network-wide issues.
• Contribute code review and collaborate with the engineering team.

Key Requirements:

• Experience building complex distributed systems.
• Strong engineering skills, preferably with knowledge of the Go language.
• Ability to create resilient services with minimal manual intervention.
• Commitment to code quality and robust testing infrastructure.
• Comfortable troubleshooting and debugging open-source projects.
• Focus on end-user experience and overall business value.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals (concurrency, algorithms, and data structures).
• Desirable attributes include creativity, humility, ambition, attention to detail, hard work, trustworthiness, eagerness to learn, methodical thinking, and tenacity.

While not required, the following experiences are a plus:

• Applied cryptography background.
• Familiarity with blockchain protocol white papers and cryptoasset innovations.
• Finance industry knowledge.
