Job Overview:
The role of a Micro-Soldering Technician at CleanSpark is crucial to maintaining the bitcoin mining operations. This position involves providing comprehensive maintenance and diagnostics services for repairing bitcoin miners at the Norcross Facility, reporting to the Hardware Repair Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate technical drawings/specifications and assess functionality.
- Utilize soldering and micro-welding equipment proficiently.
- Display meticulous attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, identify issues, and promptly resolve them.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking procedures is beneficial.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a technician in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Understanding of electronic components, their roles, and interactions in circuits.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Capable of independent and team-oriented work.
- Proficient problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical malfunctions.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication purposes.
- Skill in handling delicate components without causing damage.
- Knowledge of Antminer Series 17 & 19 equipment is advantageous.
- Possession of Bitman repair certification is a plus.
- Background in troubleshooting electrical systems is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills to convey information clearly.
- Ability to lift weights ranging from 50-75 lbs.
