About the Role
We are seeking a Motion Designer skilled in both designing captivating layouts and bringing them to life through motion. As a part of our dynamic Brand & Media team, you will be actively involved in expanding our social reach, enhancing our content offerings, and animating editorial narratives. Beyond pixel-pushing, your role involves influencing how audiences engage with our brand across various platforms, designing, animating, and editing assets that are visually alluring, on-brand, and engaging for a global audience. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller who thrives on autonomy and creativity, combining design, motion graphics, and video editing to create content that informs and inspires.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visually appealing assets and animate them effectively.
- Produce GIFs, videos, and templates for digital platforms.
- Develop detailed visualizations and motion assets to support marketing efforts.
- Translate complex data into engaging motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Contribute to building and managing a comprehensive motion library for the media team.
- Uphold and enhance the brand identity, ensuring creative output aligns with guidelines and exploring opportunities to elevate the visual style.
- Collaborate across teams to translate strategic objectives into creative solutions.
- Incorporate feedback professionally, balancing creativity with business requirements.
- Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards.
- Stay updated on design trends and tools to enhance creative output.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design, motion, typography, and layout.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
- Familiarity with storyboarding, design principles, and animation/rendering.
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Bonus points for experience in a global or distributed team, working at a fast-paced startup, Cinema4D knowledge, and motion design for digital products.
Expectations
After 3 months in this role, you are expected to collaborate effectively with the Brand & Design team, establish an efficient production process, offer fresh creative ideas, and demonstrate a deep understanding of our brand voice and visual identity.
Work Location & Authorization
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the country where they reside or where this role is based without the need for sponsorship.
