Network & Security Engineer

At Crypto.com, the Security Team is at the forefront of ensuring user safety. Made up of skilled cybersecurity professionals from around the world, this team oversees Security, Privacy, and Security Compliance efforts within the company.

The team includes individuals with international patents for technologies used in our security framework. Led by a renowned CISO recognized by the Forbes Technology Council and among the Global Top 100 CISOs, the team upholds industry standards and holds certifications such as ISO27001, ISO27701, ISO22301, PCI:DSS 3.2.1 (Level 1), NIST Tier 4, and SOC 2 Type II, along with the MPI License from Singapore MAS. The Chief Information Security Officer reports directly to the CEO, demonstrating the organization's commitment to security hierarchy.

The Security Team values expertise, practical experience, quick thinking abilities, and continuous learning. In the dynamic crypto world, the team emphasizes adaptability and teamwork to stay ahead of potential threats and protect users.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the final escalation point for resolving complex infrastructure operations and security configuration issues
• Develop and maintain documentation outlining network infrastructure and system security designs
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and suggest enhancements to existing infrastructure and security solutions
• Lead the design and implementation of various security solutions to meet business and security needs
• Foster collaboration between development and operations by embracing "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) and working closely with the DevOps team
• Provide support outside of regular office hours when necessary

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
• Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure and network products like Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Cisco, and Aruba
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with network and system security solutions such as CASB, NAC, CDN, WAF, Secure Web Gateway, and Secure Email Gateway
• Solid understanding and practical experience in cloud network infrastructure
• Experience designing and implementing resilient global networks on public or private cloud platforms is advantageous
• Deep comprehension of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
• CCNP certification or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP is highly valued)
• Strong time management skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior roles
