Onchain Transaction Monitoring Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Detect money laundering and potential risks by investigating customer activities
• Analyze alerted transactions based on internal guidance and risk-based approach
• Assess customer profiles and behavior to determine if further investigation is required
• Investigate unusual onchain transactions
• Use blockchain analytics tools (such as Elliptic, Chainalysis, TRM) to perform transaction screening
• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing unusual activity and managing risk effectively

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in AML/CTF transaction monitoring, preferably in fintech or cryptocurrency
• Familiarity with crypto transactions and blockchain technology is highly preferred
• Basic experience using blockchain monitoring/analytics tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM)
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews, and enhanced due diligence
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills within compliance functions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with ambiguity
• Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on maximizing efficiency and value
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a commitment to delivering value-add service to stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders by asking the right questions and exercising sound business judgment
• Strong English proficiency (spoken and written), additional languages are a bonus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-suite management
