Onchain Transaction Monitoring Team Lead - Americas

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of Transaction Monitoring Analysts to ensure efficient and effective operations, including meeting SLAs and minimizing financial crime risk.
• Identify areas for operational enhancements in Onchain monitoring workflows and vendor interactions.
• Support in creating and implementing Transaction Monitoring (TM) policies and procedures.
• Coach Analysts for improved work quality and enhanced customer experiences, focusing on financial crime expertise and career growth.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, quality assessments, and team development activities.
• Generate and analyze weekly/monthly MI and KPI reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting trends and necessary actions.
• Manage resource planning to adjust for new controls, clients, etc.
• Handle HR administration duties for direct reports, including time management, expense reimbursements, and OT management.
• Collaborate on projects to enhance the TM framework and support compliance function with analyzing client behavior.
• Engage in internal and external meetings, capturing and implementing action items from these interactions.
• Partner with other team leads and the TM Lead, embodying Binance culture and values.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring with expertise in Onchain Transaction Monitoring at a centralized exchange.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing large global teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues related to people, processes, and systems effectively.
• Proactive, self-motivated individual with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
