Operations Associate (Binance Pay & Card)
Job overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing operational procedures, finance, and merchant operations at a prominent global blockchain ecosystem specializing in the largest cryptocurrency exchange worldwide. They will focus on efficient settlement processes, chargeback management, and account management, collaborating extensively with various internal teams and external partners across international markets.
Responsibilities:
Card operations:
- Enhance key metric rates for the card program
- Support card growth strategies and marketing efforts
- Address operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of the card chargeback cycle
- Monitor chargeback trends and derive insights for maintaining acceptable ratios
Finance operations:
- Perform regular reconciliation tasks and address discrepancies
- Manage fund transfers, payments, and day-to-day program operations
- Monitor payment success rates and failures
- Support month-end closing procedures and reporting
Merchant operations:
- Oversee onboarding procedures for new Pay and Card merchants
- Maintain data hygiene, compliance, and performance tracking for merchants
- Serve as the main contact for designated merchant accounts
- Prepare performance reports and materials for merchant reviews
Cross-Functional & General:
- Perform data analysis to drive growth initiatives
- Develop and maintain operational reporting templates for various card metrics
- Contribute to creating SOPs, process documents, and playbooks
- Participate in UAT and operational testing for new product launches
Requirements:
- Three years or more of experience in payments, fintech, or banking operations
- Preferably experienced with card products like credit, debit, or prepaid
- Knowledge of chargeback/dispute resolution processes
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is beneficial
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in crypto, Web3, or digital asset environments
- Exposure to merchant operations or B2B account management in payments
- Understanding of FX settlement mechanisms, card network economics, etc.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, Metabase, or similar BI tools
