Operations Manager - Payment

This position entails overseeing critical payment operations related to various financial systems, banking partners, payment providers, and internal infrastructures, ensuring operational stability, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational incident responses and contingency planning involving payment systems and partners.
- Uphold compliance with Central Bank regulations, payment schemes, and internal policies.
- Coordinate disputes, refunds, fraud prevention, and manage operational cases with efficiency.
- Take charge of payment operations, including reconciliation, settlements, fund transfers, and SLA management.
- Support customer operations, handle escalations, and interact with regulatory bodies.
- Define and track operational KPIs and performance metrics to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in fintech, digital banking, or payment institutions.
- Profound knowledge of payment operations, reconciliation, settlements, and back-office processes.
- Experience in managing operational incidents, partners, and vendors.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with operational KPI management.
- Understanding of Central Bank regulated operations and payment ecosystem requirements.
- Ability to collaborate across different teams effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and structured approach to tasks.
- Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities.
