Description
Binance, a prominent global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their OTC team as an OTC Sales Trader. This role involves managing the full OTC trade lifecycle for institutional clients, driving new volumes, providing market insights to clients, and collaborating with the VIP sales team to identify business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle price quotations, trade executions, and internal hedge requirements for institutional clients in the OTC space.
- Build client trust through effective communication to understand their trade and liquidity needs.
- Monitor and calibrate risk metrics for electronic OTC flow of spot and derivatives products.
- Execute trades on DeFi and decentralized platforms as necessary.
- Support various ad-hoc tasks related to trade investigations, risk management, and algorithm performance analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance middle-office operations, booking logic, and execution strategies.
Requirements:
- Strong educational background, preferably a Master's in finance, engineering, or mathematics.
- Minimum of 4 years of OTC Sales Trader experience in the financial/crypto industry.
- In-depth knowledge of OTC trade lifecycle, pricing, settlements, and market concepts.
- Proficient in analyzing financial markets, market microstructure, and risk exposure mitigation.
- Excellent analytical skills, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Strong communication skills to engage with global, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with electronic OTC flows and structured products is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL preferred.
- Interest or experience in the crypto/DeFi industry is a plus.
