Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete OTC trade process during EMEA hours, offering clients price quotes, executing trades, and addressing internal hedge requirements.
- Expand client reach and trade flow of the OTC desk by generating new volumes and sharing market insights with clients, understanding their trade and liquidity requirements through consistent communication.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to meet client needs and spot new trade opportunities.
- Facilitate OTC product transactions involving spot, derivatives, fiat assets, and execute trades on DeFi and decentralized platforms when necessary.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to trade analyses, risk management, and post-trade evaluations.
- Liaise with operations, developers, and quants to enhance middle office operations, booking and reporting systems, along with internal pricing and execution strategies.
Required Skills:
- Preferred educational background including a Master's degree in finance, engineering, or mathematics.
- 4+ years of experience as an OTC Sales Trader within the financial or crypto sector.
- Proficient in OTC trade cycle, pricing, execution methods, and familiar with fiat banking and crypto settlements.
- Strong grasp of financial markets, market microstructure, liquidity concepts, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical skills, self-driven, resourceful, proactive, with strong communication abilities to interact with a diverse global team.
- Experience with electronic OTC flows and structured products is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is beneficial.
- Interest or experience in the crypto/DeFi industry is a plus.
