We are in search of a dedicated professional to fill the role of Payment Operations Specialist/Manager at Gulf Binance. This individual will be responsible for optimizing operational processes related to Tourist Wallet, a solution enabling seamless exchanges between cryptocurrency and THB for spending and settlements. Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth operation of payment processes from setup and monitoring to case resolution, and coordination across different functions.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will supervise payment and settlement actions, address operational issues, and ensure efficient and compliant operational flows.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise all aspects of crypto payment, fiat conversion, and reconciliation processes.
Ensure transaction accuracy, investigate anomalies, and ensure timely resolutions.
Collaborate with banking partners or third-party vendors for complex cases.
Guarantee smooth daily settlements and uninterrupted system functionality across payment channels.
Develop and enhance SOPs for payment workflows and case handling.
Identify inefficiencies, recommend automation or system improvements, and monitor operational KPIs.
Assist in generating reports on payment trends, reconciliation status, and case resolution metrics.
Ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to review suspect transactions or high-risk payment paths.
Aid in internal and external audits by providing transaction logs and necessary documentation.
Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Customer Support departments to enhance payment experiences and resolve cases promptly.
Engage with third-party vendors, payment gateways, and banks to address technical or settlement-related issues.
Assist in preparing operational readiness for new products, currencies, or payment features.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in payment operations, crypto exchange, or fintech.
- Sound knowledge of crypto-fiat workflows, settlement processes, and vendor management.
- Preferably, hands-on experience with reconciliation tools and case investigation.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Proficiency in English and Thai languages for communication with international partners.
