Description

Merkle Science specializes in providing solutions for blockchain transaction monitoring and intelligence, catering to various sectors including web3 companies, digital asset service providers, financial institutions, law enforcement, and government agencies. With the goal of ensuring the safety and compliance of cryptocurrencies, Merkle Science operates globally with offices in New York, Singapore, Bangalore, and London. The team comprises professionals from reputable companies such as Bank of America, Paypal, Luno, Thomson Reuters, and Amazon, and has received significant funding from various investors.

We are currently in search of an experienced Content and PR Lead to enhance our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in formulating and implementing successful content marketing and public relations strategies. As the Content and PR Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping Merkle Science's narrative, increasing brand visibility, and establishing authoritative thought leadership in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy and Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the firm's objectives.
  • Generate compelling content like blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies that demonstrate expertise in blockchain analytics and compliance.
  • Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to create content based on insights and technical details.
  • Ensure uniformity in messaging and branding across all content platforms.
  • Establish brand guidelines and messaging.

Public Relations:

  • Develop and implement a strategic PR plan to boost Merkle Science's market presence.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs leads and PR agency to launch effective campaigns.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
  • Draft and refine press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials for key announcements and milestones.
  • Analyze media coverage, offering insights and enhancements for continual improvement.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage Merkle Science's social media profiles, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote content through social media channels and enhance brand recognition.
  • Monitor social media trends and industry dialogues for engagement opportunities.

Event Management:

  • Coordinate the company's participation in conferences, webinars, and events to maximize brand exposure.
  • Develop and manage event-related content and materials.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless and impactful representation at events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content creation, PR, and social media management, preferably within the blockchain or fintech industry.
  • Proven track record in executing PR campaigns and securing media coverage.

Grow Brave’s awareness by hosting events on campus and touting the benefits of Brave with peers
Collaborate with the Brave marketing team on campaign ideas and engaging activations that meet objectives and drive impact
Ideate and design on-campus events; host events and/or participate in existing campus events such as hackathons, study sessions, etc.
Conduct product demos at events, and share feedback and insights back with the Brave marketing team
Promote Brave to your fellow peers through social media
Share specific sign-up links to drive Brave downloads and usage at your school
Participate in pre-event communication and post-event feedback reports
Stay in communication through one-on-one meetings or Slack conversations weekly with team leads
