What you will be responsible for: Circle is expanding its research division and seeking a Lead or Principal User Researcher to deeply understand our users, derive insights to influence product strategy, and ensure user-centric solutions. You will collaborate with various teams, including product management, design, engineering, data science, marketing, and support, to shape product direction based on user needs. As a key contributor, you will drive our solutions to enhance experiences for countless businesses and end-users worldwide.

• Gain a profound understanding of user behavior, needs, and journeys in the evolving fields of web 3, crypto, and blockchain.
• Promote a user research culture and advocate for research in product decision-making processes.
• Integrate qualitative and quantitative data across teams to provide user-centered insights that inform product strategy.
• Create compelling narratives to foster empathy and remind stakeholders of user needs throughout the organization.
• Establish yourself as a thought leader in research, championing user advocacy and product usability.
• Contribute to scaling our UX organization, implementing best practices, and enhancing our research methodologies.

What you will bring to Circle:

• Over 10 years of user research experience in an applied research environment.
• A strong grasp of industry trends to shape the future vision and contribute to product development.
• Proactively identifying research opportunities and executing projects effectively.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure user needs are reflected in product roadmaps.
• Mentoring fellow researchers, designers, and product managers in research methodologies.
• Holding a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in a human behavior-related field.

Additional Information:

• This role is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.
• Compensation ranges are determined based on factors such as experience, skill set, and business needs.
• Starting pay range: $187,500 - $240,000
• Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
