Product & Implementation Specialist – Digital Asset Custody

We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled professional to fulfill the role of a Product / Implementation Specialist in our team. The primary focus will be on servicing institutional digital asset custody clients. This position plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients and our products, necessitating a strong understanding of digital asset custody processes, regulated finance, entity structures, and a results-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of institutional clients, starting from onboarding, integration, to ongoing product support to ensure a smooth and secure client experience.

• Client Solutions & Implementation:

  • Lead the client journey by being the main technical and product expert for institutional clients, addressing complex queries about custody, security, and settlement processes.
  • Define solution structures by identifying intricate client needs and designing precise product and operational frameworks that meet these requirements while complying with regulatory standards.
  • Drive project execution by coordinating and managing implementation plans with various teams like Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Legal to ensure timely and accurate client service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed internal documentation, implementation playbooks, and standardized operational procedures for essential client-facing processes.

• Product & Process Improvement:

  • Engage proactively with customers to understand their workflows, build strong relationships, and ensure their needs align with our product offerings.
  • Utilize client feedback and market research insights to provide actionable recommendations for the Product team to enhance features and backlog prioritization.
  • Act as a product advocate during client implementation, prioritizing initiatives and evaluating technical and operational tradeoffs based on a client's strategic goals.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with regulated financial products for institutional clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, and banks.
• Deep knowledge of the digital asset custody landscape, including concepts like private key management, blockchain mechanics, and core custody operations.
• Proficiency in solutions architecture, including scoping out complex client requirements, proposing technical solutions, and creating detailed implementation specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams, drive results, and exhibit strong communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt and align working hours to US business hours in order to effectively serve institutional clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to settlement operations involving fiat or digital assets is advantageous.
• Previous experience with software implementation and iteration, especially in high-growth or financial technology environments.
• A data-driven work approach rooted in prioritizing user needs with empathy and understanding.
