The Opportunity

[Crypto.com](invalid link) is in search of a Product Design Manager to spearhead and manage a team of designers in the Exchange division. Your role will be crucial in shaping the design direction across various products within web and mobile apps, providing support to product designers, collaborating with product managers, and cultivating a positive atmosphere for the team to produce high-quality design work.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of designers by fostering design collaboration, offering feedback, and providing direction.
• Create designs to drive product and feature development, effectively communicate ideas, or offer additional support.
• Collaborate with multiple product managers responsible for different features in the Exchange to establish timelines, priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
• Offer guidance, coaching, and support to your designers, creating a positive design environment to nurture their professional growth.
• Develop, uphold, and update an optimal design process for your team.
• Share your in-depth design expertise and knowledge to mentor the surrounding designers.
• Oversee and facilitate user research activities, like 1:1 user interviews, focus groups, or usability tests.
• Work closely with the executive team to grasp and implement the overarching vision and direction.
• Present and communicate design concepts, decisions, and reasons to other teams.
• Actively engage and trade on the exchange platform, flagging design and product issues to the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working within a top-tier trading team.
• Must possess trading experience.
• Profound knowledge of design as a craft and can bring a profound skill set to the team.
• Extensive background in designing multiple B2C digital products/services for global audiences.
• Strong portfolio showcasing examples of design for digital products and services.
• Thorough understanding of user-centered design and user experience concepts, and a strong creative vision to devise design roadmaps with senior stakeholders.
• Capable of overseeing and managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality products at scale.
• Experience in developing and mentoring a design team.
• Accomplished leader with a solid creative vision, comprehensive understanding of business goals, leadership capabilities, and adept at executing ideas with the product design team.
• Presentation of a portfolio is mandatory for consideration.
