The Protocols division at Anchorage Digital collaborates with prominent blockchain ecosystems and associated institutional investors to provide top-tier institutional-grade custody, staking, governance, and DeFi capabilities. As a Product Lead, your role involves establishing the strategic direction for engagement with these ecosystems by devising frameworks that dictate the supported networks, the depth of integration, and the unique value delivered. You will be responsible for fostering cross-functional alignment at a senior level and shaping a roadmap positioning Anchorage as the premier institutional partner for significant networks in the crypto realm. This position requires a blend of product vision, adept people management, and a profound understanding of protocols.

Technical Skills:
- Develop an end-to-end product strategy for Anchorage’s interaction with protocol ecosystems, balancing immediate commitments with long-term platform investments.
- Maintain a strategic viewpoint on the blockchain landscape to identify priority ecosystems and consensus mechanisms, and determine how to sequence them effectively.
- Oversee a comprehensive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with sales and partnerships, refining based on market data and feedback.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of system architecture to provide informed technical guidance in partnership with engineering leadership.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, design, sales, compliance, and external partners, navigating ambiguity and driving progress across multiple fronts.
- Offer strategic insights influencing company-wide priorities and pivotal leadership decisions outside your direct team.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Develop and leverage a comprehensive grasp of Anchorage’s business model, regulatory environment, and competitive position to influence ecosystem strategy.
- Cultivate trusted relationships with senior leaders across departments to ensure consensus on priorities, assess trade-offs early, and foster collective accountability.
- Streamline and enhance organizational processes to optimize the Protocols team’s efficiency, predictability, and output quality.
Communication and Influence:
- Act as the voice of the Protocols organization to senior leadership, the board, and external partners by articulating strategy, progress, and trade-offs clearly and confidently.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration through transparent, consistent communication and effective influence on decision-making at all levels.
- Provide industry and trend insights on blockchain ecosystems to inform leadership, aiding the company in staying ahead of market changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Significant experience in blockchain, DeFi, or protocol-related companies with a keen understanding of ecosystem dynamics alongside technology.
- Proven track record in defining and executing multi-quarter product strategies amidst uncertainties, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Comfort with technical aspects to delve into system architecture when necessary, or possess an engineering background.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex ecosystem aspects clearly to leadership, partners, and team members.
Additional Qualifications (if applicable):
- Previous product shipments requiring close collaboration with protocol foundations or core development teams.
- Previous involvement in crafting ecosystem assessment frameworks, partnership models, or integration playbooks.
- Hands-on experience in writing smart contracts or developing dApps.
- Background in managing P&L responsibilities or connecting revenue targets to product decisions.
- Emotional connection to the music production "Hamilton."
