Description
The Role
Chainlink is seeking a Product Manager with strong technical expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit to spearhead product enhancements tailored to enterprise sectors and clients. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in technical product management, displaying a keen sense of ownership, proactive initiative, and a collaborative approach to advancing our product line within specific market segments. This role involves strategizing and driving product adoption within target customer demographics.
Responsibilities
- Understand the needs of customers in the Banking and Capital Markets sector in terms of deploying Chainlink Platform products to promote adoption and usage within their organizations
- Develop a strategic plan for provisioning, deploying, and delivering Chainlink Platform products in collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Envision the long-term deployment models for our products, prioritize issues and solutions in accordance with this vision considering technical feasibility, cost, time-to-market, and customer value, and oversee roadmap creation and maintenance
- Establish a commercial framework for our deployment models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to execute the development, launch, operation, measurement, and continuous improvement of our deployment models
- Provide feedback and validation for other product teams pertaining to their capabilities and roadmaps to ensure alignment with our defined deployment models vision and roadmap
- Communicate the deployment model vision, roadmap, and capabilities to Go-To-Market (GTM) teams and enable them accordingly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical product management role
- Familiarity with operations processes related to scaling a major software product
- Experience working with banking and capital markets or financial services-oriented products
- Knowledge of IT regulations, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in designing organizational structures and team setups
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration in product development, launch, and optimization
- Understanding of decentralized infrastructure; blockchain, smart contracts, or similar concepts
- Background in a startup or fast-paced operational environment
- Capability to work remotely and liaise with a geographically dispersed development team
