Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be integral in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our cryptocurrency-related services. Your responsibilities will involve providing superior client support, resolving complex issues, and collaborating with development teams to implement necessary improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support various cryptocurrency operations, including client trading, lending, trade settlement, and risk management.
- Monitor system performance and address issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.
- Debug and troubleshoot Java and Python applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance system stability and performance.
- Liaise with global teams for round-the-clock support.
- Document support procedures and maintain support documentation.
- Engage with clients to understand and address their needs effectively.
- Identify areas for system and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production support roles, preferably in financial services.
- Proficient in SQL and either Java or Python.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous exposure to cryptocurrency or FX trading systems.
- Experience working across different time zones.
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency protocols.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Relevant certifications in software development or IT support.
