About the Position:
Jito Labs is in search of a Protocol Engineer to spearhead the advancement of decentralized finance on Solana. We are on the lookout for inventive and driven engineers who excel at handling problems with vast design spaces and crafting simple and ingenious solutions. This role is dynamic, ideal for low-level problem-solvers to flourish.
Responsibilities
Design Solana programs utilizing Solana native and Anchor programming models
Develop secure, efficient, and reliable code
Create public-facing test plans and documentation for the code developed
Establish substantial testing infrastructure to verify adherence to specifications
Collaborate with the team and customers to leverage internal tools and knowledge
Lead features and products from inception to completion with a strong sense of ownership
Effectively address performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack
Qualifications
5+ years of systems programming experience in Rust, C, or C++
Experience developing multiple Solana programs in Solana native programming or utilizing the Anchor framework
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to simplify complex problems into straightforward solutions
Prior experience at a startup with fewer than 50 employees

Background in security
Understanding of the DeFi landscape
Salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually
