Overview of Role

We are in search of a skilled QA Automation Engineer proficient in Rust programming to join our Futures team. Your role will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of our products on web, desktop, and mobile platforms. Collaboration with engineers, product managers, designers, and operations teams will be vital throughout the software development lifecycle, aiding in test strategy, execution, and process enhancement.

Proficiency in Rust is critical as you will utilize it to create, maintain, and develop automated test frameworks and tools that uphold top performance and stability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in all software development stages within the Futures team emphasizing Rust-based systems.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, designers, and operations personnel to offer feedback on Rust code design, testing strategies, and system implementation.
• Establish and manage Rust testing environments, crafting thorough test plans and cases using Rust testing frameworks and tools.
• Conduct diverse testing, including black-box, white-box, security, automated, and performance tests across different Rust-based platforms and components.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Rust technologies and enhancements while optimizing the team's testing processes and methodologies for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Professional QA Testing (Automation) within the technology or software engineering sector.
• Strong Rust programming skills required, along with knowledge of Rust-based automation frameworks and testing libraries. Knowledge of iOS/Android development is advantageous.
• Proficiency in mobile-specific testing techniques and awareness of secondary development tools or cross-platform frameworks is beneficial.
• Skilled in designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans for complex systems and distributed architectures.
• Able to perform root cause analysis effectively to identify and resolve software performance and quality issues.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders effectively.
