About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer with a keen eye for detail and expertise in Manual Testing, along with proficiency in Automation Testing. The role entails ensuring product quality throughout the software lifecycle, from validation of requirements to release. Experience in the Private Market or Blockchain sectors would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement test plans and test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.

  • Conduct manual and automated testing for web and/or mobile applications to uphold product quality.

  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for regression and smoke testing.

  • Collaborate with Developers and Product Managers to grasp requirements and define test coverage.

  • Engage in requirement reviews, contribute to test strategy and planning initiatives.

  • Identify, document, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring they are tracked to resolution.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for release and uphold production standards.

  • Contribute to process enhancements and test documentation.

  • Exposure to Private Market/Investment domain applications and workflows would be beneficial.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of QA experience with a strong foundation in Manual and Automation Testing.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining automation scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Sound understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail) and bug tracking systems like Jira.
  • Ability to analyze intricate requirements and craft effective test cases.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman) and SQL for data validation would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in engaging with offshore teams, particularly in China, is a plus.
