Quality Assurance Engineer

Bitcoin Depot is in search of a skilled KIOSK / ATM Quality Engineer to collaborate closely with the IT development team, as well as product and cross-functional teams within Bitcoin Depot. The primary focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality and scalable products. This position, based in our Atlanta office, involves gaining a deep understanding of assigned systems or products and developing end-to-end and performance testing in alignment with the build and sprint release process. Relevant experience in smoke testing, regression testing, performance testing, as well as the creation of comprehensive test plans and test cases is essential.

The Responsibilities include:

• Developing, designing, and maintaining manual testing test scripts that yield reliable and repeatable results.
• Creating and executing test plans and test cases for new features on web and ATM/Kiosk applications.
• Collaborating with the scrum team to comprehend requirements and define the testing scope.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance automation and streamline processes across various Bitcoin Depot systems and products.

The Qualifications required are:

• Proficiency in implementing testing solutions for ATM, Debit card, Credit card, POS Acquiring, Payment Gateway, Mastercard, and Visa.
• Understanding of different testing phases including functional, device, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Over 4 years of experience in testing with a strong grasp of Software Test Life Cycle process & Defect Management process.
• Extensive experience in Conformance & Interoperability of all ATM applications & services.
• Ability to quickly grasp product details, develop test methodologies and documentation to meet both technical and business goals.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in ATM/Kiosk Testing, Web testing, and Device-related testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing of web applications, databases, and mobile apps.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology and experience with Jira.
• Excellent communication skills with a history of successful cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong testing mindset with the ability to generate creative test scenarios.
• Knowledge in Crypto and blockchain domain is considered an advantage.
